Description
In present-day Japan, first-year high school student Yōta Tōno has grown tired of girls befriending him to get closer to his handsome older brother, Reiya. When his classmate Izumi Hōjō keeps seeking him out, he assumes she wants the same thing. Her attention is harder to dismiss, though: she seems interested in the person he is used to everyone overlooking.
This school romantic comedy builds its relationship through teasing, awkward conversations, and small gestures of kindness. Izumi’s relaxed manner keeps unsettling Yōta’s defenses, while his fear of being used gives the lighthearted scenes an undercurrent of insecurity. Expect a gentle, gradual romance about learning to trust and being seen for yourself.

- Yōta’s distrust has an understandable emotional basis.
