Description
In contemporary Japan, high school student Amane Fujimiya lives alone and does little to look after himself. His neighbor, Mahiru Shiina, is the admired student everyone calls an “angel.” They barely speak until he lends her his umbrella on a rainy day. When she sees how he lives, a small favor turns into shared meals and help around the apartment.
Their closeness grows in private while they keep their distance at school. The manga lingers over cooking, teasing, and quiet acts of care, with an unhurried romance and a largely gentle tone. Away from school, Mahiru shows a more outspoken side; beneath the warmth, the story also touches on loneliness, low self-esteem, and painful family relationships.
